Roy, who is also an Elim Pastor, was appointed Elim Missions Ireland Director in March 2016. His role involves working alongside the International Missions team, raising support for the work of Elim overseas and making people aware of pressing issues that our Missionaries face while serving God across the world.
He is married to Hilary and they have 3 children. He enjoys reading, spending time with his family and is a big Liverpool F.C. fan.

About us:
In 1919, only 4 years after the founding of The Elim Pentecostal Church in the UK by George Jeffreys, an ordinary person did something they had never done before.
During the season of Elim being birthed into a movement, becoming known for planting churches, miraculous healings and powerful evangelistic events, one lady, Dollie Phillips, became our first missionary overseas. With a steely determination and raw passion to take the gospel to those who had never heard, she sailed for Mumbai.
It would be a further 10 years before anyone joined her.
Nearly a hundred years later the same three components found on opening day for Elim Missions are still calling for engagement: a Church, a missionary and the Spirit. Elim Missions is still here to stand with a sending Church, to support the empowered missionary and to listen to and follow the Spirit. This is why we exist.
Local Church:
We exist to stand alongside the missionary sending church, to serve them, to fully equip them and communicate with them the missionaries story. We desire to impact the church in the UK & Ireland, trying to reach 515,000+ people who come to our shores each year.
The Missionary:
We exist to support the story telling missionary. We currently have more than 55 missionaries and taking into account most are couples we have 45 missionary posts, in 27 countries. We believe we are a missionary sending agency. Without the missionary we would not be who we are. Our missionaries are our most important workforce. Spread out around the world they work tirelessly to see individuals being impacted spiritually and practically by the good news of Jesus. They are an eclectic group of people, with different stories, from different backgrounds and with a range of skills but with the sole purpose of serving God wherever he calls them. They are the reason we can do the work we do. We aim to facilitate the missionary to do what they feel called to do.
Elim Missions Ireland:
This is an exciting chapter in the life of Missions in Ireland and we are privileged to be part of it. It is our prayer that we might see Christ exalted among the nations; that people from every tribe and language and people and nation might find freedom in Christ.
We pray that the heart of missions would beat within every local church as we join together as the Elim family; a community of believers who are connected together and committed to demonstrating the Gospel through the sharing of faith, the equipping of the Church and the alleviating of the suffering of our fellow man. We pray that the love of God that has captured our hearts and transformed our lives will inspire us to be true Ambassadors for Christ wherever and however He chooses to use us.
